‘If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.’

‘If you look the right way, you can see that the whole world is a garden.’

Frances Hodgson Burnett-The Secret Garden

Not only do we need to nurture and care for the world we live in but we also need to think through what ‘seeds’ we are sowing. What are the effects of our actions on this planet and others around us? What seeds should we sow and which weeds should we pull?

What meaning does this quote have for you?

  1. Good question. While we can try to control our individual actions it is difficult to control others, or governments. I fear that the seeds being sown right now need to be changed if we are to protect the planet – and ourselves.

    1. Yes-I completely agree!I think we can become complacent and just expect others to make change on a larger scale but it takes action from all of us to make global change.

  2. 🦋 mmm….I plant different seed in pots then what I do directly into the ground. It’s just something I’ve always done. I like to be sure what goes into the ground is healthy, not just for consumpsion (food) but also healthy for the future environment.
